Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 7^th, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Yum mobile application (the “App”), owned and operated by STR Labs Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using Yum, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

You must be at least 13 years old to use Yum. By using the App, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years old
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You will use Yum only for lawful and personal purposes

2. Accounts and Data

If you create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree not to share your account.
• You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting support.

3. Health Disclaimer

Yum is not a medical app. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified health provider before making dietary or health-related decisions. You use Yum at your own risk.

4. Subscription & Payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription:

• Prices and billing details will be displayed in the app.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play.

Please note:

• The use of the Yum App downloaded through the Apple App Store is subject to the Apple End User License Agreement.
• The use of the Yum App downloaded through the Google Play Store is subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

Purchasing via Apple or Google: Subscriptions and in-app purchases are purchased from and billed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store and not Yum. These purchases are subject to the respective platform’s terms. Yum does not have access to your account or transactions. To confirm your subscription, please review your account or receipt on the platform.

In-app purchases on mobile devices use the payment method on file in your Apple or Google account. For more information, see:

Auto-renewal Subscriptions: Yum may offer monthly or yearly subscriptions (the “Subscription”) at a fixed price indicated in the App (“Price”) for accessing specific services (“Subscribed Services”). Users will be charged the Price for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the billing period. The Subscription auto-renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. If not canceled, you will be charged for the next period. It is your responsibility to track renewal dates and manage automatic renewal via your Apple or Google account settings. The Price is final and non-refundable by Yum except as required by law.

Termination by the User:

• Most subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled.
• Canceling allows continued access until the end of the current period.
• Canceling during a trial may result in immediate loss of access.
• Free or discounted trials must be canceled at least 24 hours before trial end to avoid charges.

Termination by Yum:

Yum may cancel, suspend, or terminate your access to Subscribed Services if:

• You fail to comply with these Terms.
• We suspect unlawful activity associated with your account.
• We suspect fraud or misuse of the App.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Yum at any time for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App (text, visuals, code, logos) is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any content without our permission.
• Reverse-engineer or extract source code.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App in any unlawful or harmful way.
• Upload offensive, abusive, or misleading content.
• Interfere with the App’s operation or security.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Yum is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees about the accuracy of data or uninterrupted performance. You use Yum at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any).

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, unless otherwise required by local law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll notify you in the App or via email.
